How PDFMasala Works
Using PDFMasala takes three simple steps, and none of them involves uploading your document. When you open the website, the PDF tools load into your browser just like any other web page. From then on, your browser does all the work: it reads the file from your device, makes the change you ask for, and hands the finished file straight back to you. Because nothing is sent to a server, there is no waiting for uploads or downloads, no file-size limit set by us, and no copy of your document left behind anywhere. Most tools even keep working if your internet connection drops after the page has loaded.

Free Online PDF Merger: Combine PDF Files
Join two or more PDF files into one tidy document in a few clicks. You see every file before you merge, put them in the order you want and keep only the pages you need. Everything happens inside your browser, so your documents never leave your device.
How to use Merge PDF
- Open Merge PDF and drop your PDF files onto the page, or tap "Select PDF Files" to choose them from your device.
- Drag the files into the order you want. Use "Reverse Order" if they came in backwards, or sort them by name.
- For each file, choose the pages to keep: all pages, or a range such as 1-3, 7.
- Check the live preview, then press Merge to create the combined PDF and download it.
Features
Move files up and down until the order is right. The preview updates as you go, so there are no surprises.
Keep only the pages you need from each PDF, such as the signed page of a contract or the first chapter of a report.
See the pages of every file before you merge, so you can check that you picked the right documents.
Files are read and joined by your own browser. Nothing is sent to a server, which keeps private documents private.
There is no account, no watermark and no daily limit. Merge as many files as your device can handle.
Use it on Windows, Mac, Linux, Android or iPhone in a modern browser. There is nothing to install.
When to use it
People merge PDFs every day: joining scanned pages into one application, putting invoices for a month into a single file for the accountant, combining a cover letter, CV and certificates for a job portal, or gathering chapters into one report. One file is easier to send, easier to print and harder to lose than ten separate attachments.
Frequently asked questions
Is it really free to merge PDFs?
Yes. Merge PDF is completely free, with no watermark and no account. The site is supported by ads, not by charging for features.
Are my PDF files uploaded anywhere?
No. The files are read from your device and merged inside your browser. They are never sent to PDFMasala or anyone else, so the tool is safe for private papers such as bank statements or ID documents.
How many PDFs can I merge at once?
There is no fixed limit. Because the work is done by your device, very large or very many files depend on your device memory. On a phone it is best to merge in smaller batches.
Can I merge only some pages of each file?
Yes. Each file has its own page choice, so you can keep all pages or type a range such as 1-3, 5. Only the chosen pages go into the new PDF.
Will merging reduce the quality of my PDF?
No. Pages are copied as they are, so text stays sharp and searchable and pictures keep their quality. If the result is too large to email, use Compress PDF afterwards.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
A PDF that needs a password to open cannot be read until it is unlocked. Open it in the app that made it, save a copy without the password, and then merge it.

Free Online PDF Splitter: Split PDF Pages
Split a large PDF into smaller files, or pull out just the pages you need. You can split by single pages, by page ranges, every few pages, by file size or even by words on the page. It all runs privately in your browser.
How to use Split PDF
- Open Split PDF and drop your PDF onto the page, or tap "Select PDF File".
- Choose how to split: by pages, by page range, or by text that appears on the pages.
- Pick the pages: every page as its own file, only the pages you tick, custom ranges such as 1-3, 4-8, or fixed ranges such as every 2 pages.
- Optionally limit the size of each file, check the list of files you will get, then press Split and download them (several files come as one ZIP).
Features
Extract every page, select pages by ticking them, type custom ranges or split into equal parts of a fixed number of pages.
Type a word, date or invoice number. Collect every page that contains it into one PDF, or start a new file each time it appears.
Set a maximum size per file so each part can be attached to an email or uploaded to a portal with size rules.
Large thumbnails and a page viewer show exactly what each new file will contain before you save it.
Your PDF is split on your own device. It is never uploaded, so confidential pages stay with you.
When the split gives several files, they are packed into a single ZIP so you can save them all in one go.
When to use it
Splitting is useful whenever a PDF holds more than you want to share. Send only the relevant pages of a long contract, break a scanned bundle of documents back into separate files, cut a large report into parts that fit an email size limit, or save each page of a statement as its own file for your records.
Frequently asked questions
How do I extract just one page from a PDF?
Choose "Select Pages", tick the page you want and press Split. You get a new PDF that contains only that page, and the original file is not changed.
Can I split a PDF into equal parts?
Yes. Use "Fixed Ranges" and set the number of pages per file. For example, a 10-page PDF split every 2 pages gives 5 files.
What does split by text do?
It searches the words on each page. You can either gather all pages that contain your text into one PDF, or begin a new PDF each time the text appears, which is handy for splitting combined invoices or statements.
Is my document uploaded when I split it?
No. PDFMasala reads and splits the file inside your browser. Nothing is sent to a server, and the page can even keep working if you go offline after it has loaded.
Does splitting reduce quality?
No. Pages are copied without being re-compressed, so text and images look exactly as they did in the original PDF.
Why do I get a ZIP file?
When a split produces more than one PDF, the files are bundled into one ZIP so your browser downloads them at once. Open the ZIP to get the individual PDFs.

Free Online PDF Compressor: Reduce PDF Size
Make a PDF small enough to email, upload or share. Choose how much to shrink it, see the compressed page and the estimated file size before you download, or turn it black and white to save even more. Your file is compressed on your own device and never uploaded.
How to use Compress PDF
- Open Compress PDF and drop your PDF onto the page, or tap "Select PDF File".
- Choose what matters most: keep text sharp, or make the file as small as possible.
- Pick how small: a quality level or a target file size. Turn on grayscale if colour is not needed.
- Compare the compressed preview and the estimated size with the original, then download the smaller PDF.
Features
Move between best quality and smallest size. The estimate updates so you can find the right balance.
Need to stay under 1 MB or 2 MB for a form or portal? Set a target and the compressor aims for it.
Turn colour scans into grayscale for a much smaller file that still prints clearly.
See the compressed page next to the original and check the text is still easy to read before you save.
Keep only the pages you need while compressing, which shrinks the file further.
Compression is done by your browser. Your document is never sent to a server.
When to use it
Large PDFs cause trouble: emails bounce, government and job portals reject uploads over a size limit, and phones run out of space. Scanned documents and PDFs full of photos are usually the biggest. Compressing them keeps the content readable while cutting the file down to a size that is quick to send and easy to store.
Frequently asked questions
How much can a PDF be compressed?
It depends on what is inside. Scanned pages and photos often shrink a lot, sometimes by 70 to 90 percent. A PDF that is mostly plain text is already small and may only shrink a little.
Will my text become blurry?
Choose "Keep Text Sharp" to protect readability. The preview lets you zoom in and check the result before you download, so you only save a file you are happy with.
Can I compress a PDF to a specific size?
Yes. Set a target size and the tool tries to reach it. If the target is very small for the content, the estimate shows how close it can get.
Is compressing online safe for private documents?
With PDFMasala, yes. The file never leaves your device: it is compressed by your browser, not on a server, so nobody else can see it.
Why is my compressed file not much smaller?
Some PDFs contain mostly text and vector drawings, which are already efficient. Try grayscale, a lower quality level, or removing pages you do not need.
Does compression change the original file?
No. A new, smaller PDF is downloaded and your original file stays exactly as it was.

Free Online PDF Organizer: Reorder, Rotate & Delete Pages
See every page of your PDF as a picture and arrange them the way you want. Drag pages into a new order, rotate or flip them, duplicate or delete them, and even combine pages from up to five PDFs. Everything stays on your device.
How to use Organize PDF
- Open Organize PDF and drop one PDF, or up to five at once, onto the page.
- Drag pages to put them in the right order. Select several pages to move or change them together.
- Rotate, flip, duplicate or delete pages with the tools in the side panel. Undo any step you change your mind about.
- Press "Preview & Download" to save the arranged pages as a new PDF, or collect chosen pages in the New PDF palette to make a separate file.
Features
Every page is shown as a thumbnail, with a size switch so you can read the content before you decide where it goes.
Move pages by dragging them. Reverse the whole document in one click if it was scanned back to front.
Turn sideways pages the right way up, or mirror pages that were scanned the wrong way.
Copy a page you need twice, or remove blank and unwanted pages.
Load up to five PDFs and mix their pages together, or collect chosen pages into a brand-new PDF.
No uploads, no account and no watermark. Pages are arranged by your browser.
When to use it
Scanners and phone apps often produce pages in the wrong order, upside down or with blank sheets in between. Before sending a document to an office, school or bank, it is worth making it tidy. Organize PDF lets you fix all of that visually, page by page, without retyping or rescanning anything.
Frequently asked questions
How do I change the order of pages in a PDF?
Open the PDF in Organize PDF and drag each page to its new place in the grid. When the order is right, download the new PDF.
Can I rotate just one page?
Yes. Select the page and use rotate. Only the selected pages turn, and the rest of the document is left as it is.
Does rotating or reordering reduce quality?
No. Pages are moved and turned without being re-compressed, so the content keeps its original quality.
Can I combine pages from different PDFs?
Yes. Add up to five PDFs, drag their pages into one order, or use the New PDF palette to collect pages from any of them into a separate file.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The pages are drawn and arranged in your browser, and the new PDF is created on your device.
Can I add a signature after organizing?
Yes. Use "Open in Editor" to take the arranged PDF straight to Editor & Sign, where you can add text, highlights and a signature.

Free Online PDF Watermark & Page Number Tool
Stamp a text watermark such as CONFIDENTIAL or DRAFT across your PDF, and add page numbers to the header or footer. You control the text, colour, size, angle and opacity. The work is done privately in your browser.
How to use Watermark & Page Numbers
- Open Watermark & Page Numbers and choose your PDF.
- Tick "Add Text Watermark", type the text and choose its opacity, colour, font size and rotation.
- Tick "Add Page Numbering" and choose a number format and position.
- Press the button to apply and download the watermarked PDF.
Features
Use any words: CONFIDENTIAL, DRAFT, COPY, your company name or a date.
Make the watermark faint so the page stays readable, or bold so it cannot be missed.
Set the font size and rotate the text, for example 45 degrees diagonally across the page.
Add numbers such as "Page 3 of 10" to every page, in the header or footer.
The watermark and numbers are applied to the whole document in one go.
Your PDF is changed on your own device, so confidential files never reach a server.
When to use it
A watermark tells readers what a document is: a draft that is not final, a confidential copy that should not be shared, or a sample that belongs to your company. Page numbers make long documents easy to discuss and print in order. Together they give reports, proposals and study notes a finished, professional look. Both are added in one step, and you can check the settings before you download the result.
Frequently asked questions
How do I add a watermark to a PDF for free?
Choose your PDF, type the watermark text, set the look you want and download. There is no account, no cost and no PDFMasala logo added to your file.
Can I add page numbers without a watermark?
Yes. Leave the watermark option unticked and only tick page numbering.
Will the watermark hide my text?
Not if you keep the opacity low. A faint watermark of around 20 to 30 percent opacity is easy to see but lets the page be read normally.
Can the watermark be removed later?
The watermark is drawn into each page of the new PDF, so it cannot simply be switched off. Keep your original file if you might need a clean copy.
Is my document private?
Yes. The watermark is added by your browser and the file is never uploaded.

Free Online Word to PDF Converter
Turn a Word document into a PDF that looks the same on every device. Text, tables and pictures are kept, and the conversion happens right in your browser. You do not need Microsoft Word, an account or any upload.
How to use Word to PDF
- Open Word to PDF and drop your .docx file onto the page, or tap to choose it.
- Wait a moment while the document is laid out in your browser.
- Check the page preview.
- Press Convert to PDF and download your new PDF.
Features
Headings, paragraphs, lists, tables and pictures are carried into the PDF.
The conversion runs in the browser, so it works on computers and phones without Microsoft Office.
A PDF opens the same way everywhere, so your document looks as you intended.
There is no upload or download wait. The file is converted as soon as you choose it.
Your document never leaves your device, which is ideal for CVs, letters and contracts.
Convert as many documents as you like, with no sign-up and no logo stamped on the result.
When to use it
PDF is the safest way to send a finished document. A Word file can look different on another computer, with moved pictures or replaced fonts, and it can be changed by accident. A PDF keeps the layout fixed. Convert your CV before applying for a job, a letter before emailing it, or an assignment before submitting it to a portal that only accepts PDF. Because the conversion runs in your browser, it also works on a borrowed or office computer where you cannot install software.
Frequently asked questions
Which Word files are supported?
Modern Word documents in .docx format. If you have an older .doc file, open it in Word or another editor and save it as .docx first.
Will my PDF look exactly like the Word file?
Most documents look the same. Very complex layouts, unusual fonts or special effects can shift slightly, so check the preview before downloading.
Is my document uploaded to a server?
No. PDFMasala converts the file inside your browser, so it stays on your device.
Can I convert Word to PDF on my phone?
Yes. Open the tool in your phone browser, choose the .docx file and download the PDF.
Is the text in the PDF selectable?
The pages are drawn as high-quality images of your document, which keeps the layout exact. To get searchable text, you can use the Word original or convert with an Office app.

Free Online Image to PDF Converter: JPG, PNG to PDF

How to use Image to PDF
- Open Image to PDF and drop your images onto the page, or tap "Select Images".

- Press "Create PDF Document" and download your PDF.
Features
Use photos from your phone, scanned pages or screenshots in the most common formats.
Drag images into any order before creating the PDF.
Trim edges and turn sideways photos without another app.
Choose the page size and margins that suit how the PDF will be printed or shared.
Combine dozens of pictures into one document that is easy to send.
Your photos stay on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
When to use it
Many offices, colleges and websites ask for documents as one PDF rather than a set of photos. Image to PDF is perfect for turning phone photos of certificates, ID cards, receipts or handwritten notes into a single file that is easy to upload and print. It also helps when you have screenshots or scanned pages saved as images and want to keep them together in the right order. The finished PDF can be merged with other documents or compressed afterwards if it needs to be smaller.
Frequently asked questions
How do I turn several photos into one PDF?
Select all the photos at once, put them in order, and create the PDF. Each image becomes one page.
Can I convert phone photos of documents?
Yes. Crop away the background and rotate the page so it is straight, then create the PDF. For a smaller file, run it through Compress PDF afterwards.
Does the image quality drop?
Images are placed into the PDF at their own resolution, so they look as sharp as the originals. Very large photos make a large PDF, so run Compress PDF afterwards if you need a smaller file.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. They are read and placed into the PDF by your browser.
Can I convert HEIC photos from an iPhone?
Browsers usually cannot read HEIC files directly. On an iPhone, sharing or exporting the photo as JPG first will work.

Free Online HTML to PDF Converter
Turn an HTML file or pasted HTML code into a PDF. See a live preview, choose the paper size, and save the result as a PDF. Saved web pages work too: select the .html file together with its styles and pictures.
How to use HTML to PDF
- Open HTML to PDF and drop your .html file, or choose "Paste HTML Code".
- If you saved a web page, select the .html file together with the files from its folder so styles and pictures load.
- Check the live preview, and choose the paper size or one long page.
- Create the PDF, or use "Print / Save as PDF" to keep selectable text.
Features
Convert a saved page, an exported email or HTML you paste in directly.
See the page before converting, so you know how it will look.
Choose A4, Letter and other sizes, or one long continuous page.
Add the CSS and image files that belong to the page for an accurate result.
Try to block ads and remove pop-ups from saved pages before converting.
The HTML is rendered by your browser and never uploaded.
When to use it
HTML to PDF is handy when you want a permanent copy of something saved in a web page format: an online receipt or ticket, a newsletter, documentation you want to read offline, or a page you designed yourself. A PDF keeps the content exactly as it was on the day you saved it, which is useful for records and proof of purchase. Developers can also paste HTML to quickly check how a template prints on real paper sizes.
Frequently asked questions
Can I convert a saved web page?
Yes. Save the page in your browser, then select the .html file together with the files in its folder so that the styles and images appear in the PDF.
Will the text in the PDF be selectable?
Use "Print / Save as PDF" to create a PDF with selectable text through your browser print dialog. The normal create button makes an exact picture of each page, which keeps the look but not selectable text.
Can I paste HTML code?
Yes. Choose "Paste HTML Code", paste it in, and the preview shows the result straight away.
Is my file uploaded?
No. The HTML is shown and converted inside your own browser.
Why do some pictures not appear?
The pictures are separate files. Select them together with the HTML file, or make sure the page uses full web addresses for its images.

Free Online PDF to Word Converter
Turn a PDF into a Word document you can edit. Keep the exact layout, get flowing text that is easy to change, or place a picture of each page. The conversion runs in your browser, so your file never leaves your device.
How to use PDF to Word
- Open PDF to Word and choose your PDF.
- Pick a style: Exact layout, Flowing text, or Picture of each page.
- Choose all pages or type the pages you need, such as 1-3.
- Press "Convert to Word" and download the .docx file.
Features
Editable text stays in its place, with the original fonts, colours and page graphics.
Easy-to-rewrite paragraphs. Colour and font are kept, but pictures are left out.
Each page looks exactly like the PDF. Use this when the look matters more than editing.
Text styles and paragraphs are kept so the document is ready to edit.
Convert the whole PDF or only the pages you need.
The PDF is converted on your device and never uploaded.
When to use it
PDFs are hard to change, so turning one into a Word document is the quickest way to update an old CV, reuse text from a report, correct a letter you no longer have the original of, or fill in a form that was sent as a PDF. Pick the style that suits the job: keep the exact look for small edits, or get flowing text when you plan to rewrite large parts of the document. The result is a normal .docx file that you can open and save in any word processor.
Frequently asked questions
Which option should I choose?
Choose Exact layout to keep the look and still edit text. Choose Flowing text when you want to rewrite the content. Choose Picture of each page when it must look identical.
Can I convert a scanned PDF to Word?
A scan is a picture of text, so there is no text to take out. Picture of each page will still put the scan into Word. To get the words, the scan needs text recognition first.
Will the Word file open in Google Docs or LibreOffice?
Yes. The result is a standard .docx file that opens in Word, Google Docs, LibreOffice and other editors.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. It is read and converted inside your browser.
Why does the layout look slightly different?
PDF and Word store pages in different ways. Exact layout keeps it closest; with Flowing text, the content reflows as normal Word paragraphs.

Free Online PDF to JPG & PNG Converter
Save the pages of a PDF as high-resolution PNG or JPG images. Convert every page or just the ones you pick, and download them instantly. The pages are drawn by your browser, so the PDF never leaves your device.
How to use PDF to Image
- Open PDF to Image and choose your PDF.
- Choose PNG or JPG and the image quality or resolution.
- Tick the pages to convert, or choose the current page only.
- Press "Convert to Images" and download them (many images arrive as one ZIP).
Features
PNG for sharp text and graphics, JPG for smaller files and photos.
Choose a higher resolution for printing or zooming in.
Convert all pages, chosen pages, or only the page you are looking at.
Pull the pictures that are inside the PDF pages.
One image downloads directly; several come together in a ZIP.
The PDF is drawn into images on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
When to use it
Images are easier to share than PDFs in many places: messaging apps show them instantly, social media only accepts pictures, and websites and presentations often need a JPG or PNG. Converting PDF pages to images is useful for posting a flyer, sending one page of a document in a chat, adding a page to a slide or website, or making thumbnails. Higher resolutions are best for printing and zooming, while lower ones keep files small for quick sharing.
Frequently asked questions
How do I turn one PDF page into a JPG?
Open the PDF, select that page, choose JPG and convert. The image downloads straight away.
PNG or JPG: which is better?
PNG keeps text and lines perfectly crisp. JPG makes smaller files and is fine for photos and sharing.
Can I use the images on social media?
Yes. JPG images at normal resolution are ideal for posting and messaging apps.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Your browser draws each page into an image on your device.
Why is the download a ZIP?
When you convert several pages, the images are bundled into one ZIP file so they download together. Open the ZIP on your computer or phone to get the separate images.
Which resolution should I choose?
For sharing on phones and social media, the normal resolution is enough and keeps files small. For printing, zooming or using the image in a design, choose a higher resolution so text and lines stay sharp.

Free Online PDF Text Extractor & Search
Get the text out of a PDF and search it as you type. Matches are highlighted on the page, and you can copy a page of text or export everything as TXT or JSON. Your PDF is read in your browser, never uploaded.
How to use Extract Text
- Open Extract Text and choose your PDF.
- Read the text of each page in the side panel, next to the page itself.
- Type a word in the live search box to highlight every match.
- Copy the page text, or download the text as .TXT or .JSON.
Features
See every match highlighted as you type, across all pages.
Read and copy the text of the current page or the whole document.
Save plain text for notes, or structured JSON for developers and data work.
See how many words and characters each page contains.
Text is read instantly with no waiting for uploads.
The PDF is read inside your browser and never sent anywhere.
When to use it
Copying text from a PDF by dragging across lines often breaks words, mixes columns or misses pages. The text extractor gives you the clean text of each page so you can quote a passage, reuse content in a new document, check how often a word appears, or feed the text into another program. The live search is also a quick way to find a name, amount or date in a long document without reading every page. Results stay on your device, so it is safe to use with private documents.
Frequently asked questions
Can I copy text from a PDF that will not let me select it?
If the PDF contains real text, the extractor shows it so you can copy it. If the page is a scanned picture, there is no text inside to extract.
Does it work with scanned PDFs?
Scanned pages are images, so they have no text layer. The Translate PDF tool can read scanned English, Bengali and Hindi pages with text recognition.
What is JSON export for?
JSON keeps the text page by page in a structured format. Programs, scripts and data tools can import it easily, which makes it useful for developers and research work.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The text is read by your browser on your device.
Is there a size limit?
No fixed limit. Very large PDFs depend on your device memory.

Free Online PDF Translator: English, Bengali & Hindi
Translate the text of a PDF between English, Bengali and Hindi. Scanned pages are read with text recognition first, and the translation is made on your own device, so your document is never uploaded. Save the result as a PDF or as text.
How to use Translate PDF
- Open Translate PDF and choose your PDF in English, Bengali or Hindi.
- Keep "Auto detect" for the language of the PDF, or choose it yourself.
- Choose the language to translate into and press Translate. The first time, your browser downloads the language pack.
- Compare the original and translated pages, then download the translated PDF or the text.
Features
Translate between any two of the three languages, in either direction.
Scanned pages are read by text recognition (OCR) before they are translated.
The translation is made by your browser built-in translator, not on a server.
See the original and the translated text page by page.
Download a translated PDF, or the text alone for editing.
Stop a long translation whenever you like.
When to use it
Official letters, school notices, forms and documents in India often arrive in a language that not everyone in the family or office reads comfortably. Translate PDF helps you understand an English document in Bengali or Hindi, or share a Bengali or Hindi document with someone who reads English. It is also useful for students reading study material and for anyone who receives scanned notices. Because translation happens on your device, private letters and records are never shared with a translation website.
Frequently asked questions
Which browser do I need?
Translation uses the translator built into recent desktop versions of Google Chrome. If your browser does not have it, the tool will tell you.
Can it translate a scanned Bengali or Hindi PDF?
Yes. Scanned pages are read with text recognition first, then translated. Clear, straight scans give the best results.
Is the translation accurate?
It is a machine translation, good for understanding a document. For legal, medical or official papers, have the result checked by someone who knows both languages.
Is my document uploaded?
No. Text recognition and translation both happen on your device.
Why does the first translation take longer?
The first time you translate a language pair, your browser downloads its language pack. After that, translation starts much faster.
Can I translate only some pages?
The tool shows each page with its translation, so you can check the pages you need as they finish. For a very long document, splitting out the important pages first with Split PDF makes translation quicker.

Free Online Batch PDF Renamer
Give many PDFs new names at once. Build a name from a starting word, numbers and dates, or load the new names from an Excel list. Your files are read on your device and saved as renamed copies, with nothing uploaded.
How to use Batch Rename
- Open Batch Rename and add your PDFs. Use "Sort A-Z" to put them in name order.
- Under Name, type a starting word and choose whether to keep the current file name.
- Add a number and a date, and choose the separator and capital letters. The Example box shows the new names.
- Save the renamed copies as one ZIP, or straight into a folder in Chrome and Edge.
Features
Combine a starting word, the current name, a counting number and a date.
Use 1, 2, 3 or 001, 002, 003, starting at any number, at the start or the end.
Add today or a chosen date in the format you like.
Download a list of your files, type the new names in Excel and load it back.
See the real new names of your files before saving anything.
Files are renamed on your device; the originals are not changed.
When to use it
Files from scanners, banks and downloads usually come with meaningless names such as scan_0001.pdf or document (7).pdf. Clear names make files easy to find, sort and share. Batch Rename is useful for numbering invoices, adding dates to statements, preparing files for an office that needs a naming rule, or renaming a whole folder of certificates using names from a spreadsheet. A few choices replace an hour of renaming files one by one, and the live example shows the result before you save.
Frequently asked questions
Why are renamed files saved as copies?
A web page is not allowed to rename files where they sit on your disk. PDFMasala saves renamed copies instead, and your original files stay unchanged.
How does the Excel list work?
Click "Get Excel list of these PDFs", type new names in column B, save, and load the file back. The Status column shows which files are ready.
What if two files would get the same name?
A number such as (2) is added to the end of the name so no file overwrites another. The Example box shows these numbers before you save.
Can I rename files other than PDFs?
The tool is made for PDF files. To rename other kinds of files, use the file manager of your computer or a dedicated renaming app.
Are my files uploaded?
No. They are read and renamed inside your browser.
