How to Convert PDF to PowerPoint
When you only have a PDF of a presentation, converting it to PowerPoint lets you present it full screen, add your own slides or change the words. Each PDF page becomes one slide.
Convert PDF to PowerPoint, step by step
- Open PDF to PowerPoint and choose your PDF. The page appears on the left.
- Pick a mode in the panel on the right: Default or OCR based.
- Press Convert and check the PowerPoint preview next to the original.
- Press Download to save the .pptx file.
Which mode should I choose?
- Default: quick and plain. The text goes into text boxes without colours. Best when you want to reuse the words.
- OCR based (crown icon): the slide copies the look of the PDF page. Best for presenting.
Good to know
- Charts are not turned back into live PowerPoint charts. Rebuild a chart if you need to change its data.
- Very long PDFs depend on your device memory. Converting them in parts can be faster.
- For Google Slides, upload the .pptx file to Google Drive and open it there.
